A good RJ45 integrated-magnetics RFQ gives engineering enough information to identify a suitable circuit and gives purchasing enough information to compare the same supply scope. Asking only for a price on an “RJ45 transformer jack” leaves too many important variables undefined.
Start with the CZT integrated magnetics family, but attach a requirements package rather than relying on a catalogue category. Keep confirmed requirements, preferences and unresolved questions visibly separate.
Describe the application and electrical interface
Provide the exact PHY, target operating modes and the approved reference circuit where available. State whether the port includes PoE and identify the intended architecture. Include requirements for magnetic topology, center taps and relevant electrical characteristics through controlled documents.
If a characteristic is not yet known, mark it as an engineering question. An honest unknown is more useful than a copied value that accidentally excludes suitable candidates or creates an unjustified promise.

Attach mechanical and process constraints
Include the PCB footprint or available board area, mounting orientation, enclosure opening and height constraints. Identify LED needs and shield connections. A marked drawing communicates these relationships better than a list of dimensions without datums.
State the assembly process, packaging constraints and any required production inspection. These details help prevent a quotation for a physically suitable part that cannot enter the intended manufacturing flow.
Use this RFQ cover sheet
| Section | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Application | Equipment type, operating environment and project stage |
| Electrical | PHY, circuit reference, modes and PoE arrangement |
| Mechanical | Drawing, footprint, orientation and panel constraints |
| Options | LED, shield and other required configuration details |
| Manufacturing | Solder process, handling and packaging requirements |
| Purchasing | Sample quantity, forecast and requested delivery basis |
| Documents | Required drawings, reports and traceability records |
Place the full list of attachments and their revisions below the cover sheet. Ask the supplier to identify exceptions rather than silently interpreting every field as agreed.

Make quotations comparable
Compare offered model, included options, packaging quantity, documentation scope and any tooling or sample charges. Separate a requested date from a supplier-confirmed delivery commitment. Record assumptions that affect unit price or minimum order quantity.
For a hypothetical comparison, a lower unit price might exclude a requested LED configuration or inspection document. Correcting the scope before comparing prices prevents a false saving.
Carry technical decisions into the order
After questions are resolved, update the RFQ package and retain the clarified version with the quotation. The eventual order should identify the reviewed configuration and applicable drawings.
Use the RFQ entrance with the PHY reference, mechanical constraints and expected quantities. This turns the conversation into a specific product-selection task while preserving the technical decisions that must be approved before production purchasing.
Connect this review to CZT product information
Catalog references to discuss are listed below. Use the identifiers to request the current drawing and confirm the configuration required by your application.
| Catalog reference | Product information | Drawing record | Reference inquiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| JDGD14100001 | RJ45 ICM catalog-listed 1000BASE-T 1-port type, JDGD14100001 | Listed PDF | Ask about this reference |
| JDDD14530004 | RJ45 ICM catalog-listed 1000BASE-T 1-port type, JDDD14530004 | Listed PDF | Ask about this reference |
A catalog drawing reference is a starting document, not a substitute for reviewing its revision, options and suitability for the complete assembly.

Discuss a drawing, sample or quotation
Share the part or family reference, current drawing revision, operating conditions and quantities. Include the specific checks described in this article so the inquiry identifies both the component and the evidence needed for your decision. Confirm sample availability and the proposed scope with the supplier.
